Privacy FAQs
Period leaks are normal—data leaks shouldn’t be.
Your health data is your business. While protecting your privacy online has always been important, sensitive sexual and reproductive health data can now put people—especially people who already face higher levels of surveillance—at legal risk. That’s why Euki takes extreme care to help users keep their health data private. Here’s how we do it.
-
Just you! The only way to see your data is on your device, using your optional Euki PIN to open the app.
The Euki app was designed to give you maximum privacy and control over your data. We do not collect or store anything you track in the app. Because all your data is stored locally on your device, we do not even have access to it. -
It means that any data you enter into the Euki app is stored ONLY on your device—not in the cloud or anywhere else. If you delete the app, any data you have entered will also be permanently deleted.
To get technical: there is no back end data collection, there are no cloud servers, and we don't collect or use cookies to track your activity! You’re the only one who knows how you use the Euki app. -
No! Not now, not ever. Euki does not have any of your app data to share or sell, and even if we did—we wouldn’t! We believe everyone has the right to privately track what’s going on in their bodies.
Plus, as a non-profit organization, Euki doesn’t have shareholders or investors—our main focus is serving our users and communities. -
Anonymity: The Euki app is not connected to your email address or a user account. We do not collect your email, and we do not have user accounts.
Customization: You can customize what sexual and reproductive health information is viewable on your dashboard. You can choose to hide certain sections or make them easier to find. You can even change the name of any section to whatever you like! -
You can set up a Euki PIN as an extra layer of security.
Note: Our focus on privacy comes with a bit of a trade-off. We don’t have any of your information, which means you have complete control of your data. But that also means we can’t recover your Euki PIN if you forget it. So make sure to choose a PIN you’ll remember!
Once you download or update the app, you can use it without connecting to the internet—another way to make sure tracking your health is extra private!
