common Questions
From data retrieval to privacy protection, we have answers.

Unfortunately, if you forget your PIN, you’ll have to redownload the app and essentially start from scratch.
That’s because we don’t have any of your information which is great for keeping your data private, but it also means we can’t help if you forget your PIN.
If you end up having to redownload the app, make sure to choose a PIN you’ll remember, or write your PIN down and keep it in a safe place.

You can rearrange, delete, or rename content areas in the Info section. To do this, choose a content area, tap, and hold. You’ll then be able to edit the display or delete content areas that you aren’t interested in. If you tap one of the content areas, you’ll be able to change its name. And if you’ve deleted one, you can easily re-add it while in editing mode.
You can also scroll to the bottom of the Info section and choose Edit Display to make changes to the Info section.

While the Euki App is not designed to be used as a primary form of birth control–and nothing in the app constitutes medical advice–users looking to track their ovulation can do so using the custom note feature. Tracking experiences such as basal body temperature and cervical mucus are not currently available, but we are working on updates that will make tracking fertility with Euki much easier and more comprehensive.

With Euki, you can search for abortion care while keeping your digital footprint small—an important concern for anyone who may be worried about their privacy. The in-app Care Navigator helps people find the best care options for their unique needs, sharing up-to-date information about providers and practical support organizations sourced from the I Need an A database.

Our focus on privacy means we don’t have access to the data you track in the Euki app—it’s all stored locally on your device, and you have full control over it. But that also means that if you lose your phone or get a new one, there’s no way to access your tracked data by logging into a user account or downloading it from the cloud.
Right now, you can only transfer data from one device to another by manually inputting it into the new phone. But we know that is not a great solution and are actively working on a way for you to download your Euki data and re-upload it to your new phone.
-
In the Privacy section of the app, you can either set recurrent data deletion (at your preferred frequency), or delete all your data manually.

You need to track your cycle for two months before the Cycle Summary can start making period predictions. You also need to check the “Include in cycle summary” box when you’re tracking bleeding, if you want that bleeding to be included in your cycle summary.
We know that bleeding can happen for many reasons that might not be related to your period, which is why you get to choose whether or not to include it in your cycle summary.
